Explanation of Documents
The Constitution is the version of the WSFS Constitution as it stood after the Business Meeting at the current year's Worldcon. It is the version that applies to the following year's Worldcon, including the Business Meeting at the following year's Worldcon.
The Standing Rules are additions to the WSFS parliamentary practice rules (Robert's Rules of Order) used in the conduct of the Business Meeting. The version here is the Standing Rules as they stood after the Business Meeting at the current year's Worldcon. These rules apply to the following year's WSFS Business Meeting.
The Resolutions and Rulings of Continuing Effect are resolutions (BM-) passed at the current and past Business Meetings and rulings (CH-) of the WSFS Business Meeting Chair (including rulings overturned on appeal) that may affect the conduct of, or otherwise be relevant to, subsequent Business Meetings. The version here is the Resolutions and Rulings of Continuing Effect as they stood after the Business Meeting at the current year's Worldcon. Also included are any actions taken by the WSFS Mark Protection Committee (MPC-) that may have an ongoing effect. Some repealed or deprecated resolutions and rulings are shown in strikethrough type.
The Minutes are the minutes of the current year's WSFS Business Meeting. In more recent years the entire meeting has been recorded on video. See here for the video archive.
The Business Passed On lists any amendments to the WSFS Constitution that were received their first passage at the current year's Business Meeting and that are passed on to the subsequent year's Business Meeting for ratification. It serves as an initial draft of the following year's Business Meeting agenda.
